What are the registration rules for a company based in another EU country?

Created by Grażyna Gruszka, Modified on Mon, 16 Feb at 6:57 PM by Grażyna Gruszka

To register a company operating in another EU country, the person registering must present a valid photo ID and a complete set of company documents: proof of business activity (e.g., an extract from the commercial register) and proof of EU VAT number assignment or a tax registration certificate.

If the person registering is not listed in the documents as authorised to represent the company, a written, notarised power of attorney with an APOSTILLE clause is also required.

Please note that all foreign documents must be translated into Polish by a sworn translator or a Polish Consul.
